I do not get paid for the weekends I work either when on business trips. But I do not mind since everything is covered.

I can’t say I’ve ever had a job that required travel, but it would be great to have expenses paid like that. My ex had to travel once or twice a year for work, but her cheap boss only covered the flight and hotel. She had to pay for all her own meals. On top of that, they had her on salary and didn’t pay her anything extra for working those weekends.

I love getting my meals paid. Especially because eating out now-a-days is so expensive.

i take a few trips per year and use a card that bills to my house.. but as long as i get the expense report in on time, everything is covered..

i am going to an out of town conference here in a few weeks, and look forward to eating on the company bill for a week
